Thank you to all who attended the Zoom meeting! We appreciate your interest and participation in our community. Meeting minutes will be available prior to the next Annual Meeting, for approval. In the meantime you can view the presentation as a PDF and sign up for dryer vent cleaning (by June 30, 2021).

The meeting date has been moved back to accommodate preparation for the new digital format due to the pandemic.

One of the purposes of the annual meeting is to elect directors to the Association’s Board of Directors (BOD). At the meeting on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, four Board positions are up for election: Three of five Directors’ terms are expiring.  These positions are currently filled by Kathryn Fogleboch, Lori Rowe and Sean Messenger. There is also a vacant seat to fill due to a mid-term resignation, making the second year of such two-year term also available.

Nominations will be accepted in advance of the meeting. We will be accepting ballots in advance of the meeting as well, so you are encouraged to submit your nomination as soon as possible to ensure your name is on the ballot that will be mailed to owners in advance of the meeting.

A Nominating Petition is enclosed: you may nominate yourself or another co-owner. If you are nominating another co-owner, please obtain their signature accepting your nomination before returning the petition. Nominations must be received by April 7, 2021 to be included on the ballot that will be mailed to owners in advance of the annual meeting. We prefer that you submit a nominating petition by email to Herriman & Associates, Inc. Assistant, Janet Wolak at jwolak@herriman.net.

A Designated Voting Representative (DVR) form is enclosed for your use if you wish to change the DVR. If there is more than one owner of a unit, all owners must sign the DVR form to designate one owner to vote, receive communications, sign proxies and receive ballots at or for meetings of the Association. Regrettably, when a DVR form is not on file for a unit, a ballot will not be counted for that unit. If you already have a DVR form on file, you are not required to file a new one, unless you want to change the DVR.

To ascertain the current DVR for your unit, please examine the mailing label on the envelope in which these documents were mailed. If a single name appears, the addressee is the DVR. If more than one name appears, we have not received a DVR form from you.

In order to conduct the meeting, a quorum of 35% of co-owners of Turnberry Village Association must be present, either in person, by proxy or by absentee ballot.

In a subsequent mailing, you can expect to receive a meeting agenda, a financial report, last year’s annual meeting minutes, information about director-candidates and a ballot for the election of directors
